Sealcoating is not meant to be applied in thick patches and will not provide your parking lot with more protection. It actually has the opposite effect. Thick sealcoat doesn’t cure evenly; is prone to tracking, which can lead to surface cracks; takes longer to cure, which can lead to degradation; and reduces the life of your sealcoating.
