Sealant
The best way to deal with tire marks on concrete is by preventing them from occurring in the first place. As you drive your car, especially with high-quality tires, an element known as plasticizers gets left behind from the heat caused by operating your vehicle. Using a sealant on your concrete helps to protect it from various environmental elements that could cause stains and unsightly marks on the surface, including those from tires. When you do see those marks appear on top of the sealant, a degreaser can be used to remove them or, in some case, you may need to reseal the concrete itself.
Cleaning
The first part of cleaning tire marks off concrete relates to your regular maintenance. It’s important that tire marks be cleaned as soon as possible. By doing regular maintenance, you’ll be more likely to achieve this because you’ll notice the new marks as they appear. The longer these marks sit and seep into concrete, the harder they will be to remove. A brush with softer bristles or push broom should be your first solution to removing the marks. These tools won’t leave scratches in your concrete Use water and a mild soap to scrub off the marks. If they seem to be more resilient than what this method can achieve, employ the services of a power washing service to do the trick.
