CAI
The Community Associations Institute is an international membership non-profit organization dedicated to building better communities by assisting Maryland and Eastern Shore communities in promoting harmony, community, and responsible leadership. With more than 35,000 members, CAI has 63 chapters worldwide, including The Chesapeake Chapter. The main purpose of the CAI is to provide information, education, and resources to the homeowner volunteers who govern communities and the professionals who support them. In addition to PTG, other CAI members include association board members, homeowner leaders, community managers, association management firms, and professionals who provide products and services to associations.
IFMA
The International Facility Management Association is the premier professional association for facility management, supporting 24,000 members in more than 100 countries. As the world’s largest and most widely recognized international association in their field, IFMA’s main mission is to advance the professional discipline of facility management worldwide. To meet this mission, IFMA offers professional advancement through credentialing programs and provides a range of educational courses, produces World Workplace, the world’s largest series of facility management conferences and expositions, and produces industry-leading publications, including magazines, newsletters, and blogs.
MMHA
The Maryland Multi-Housing Association is a professional non-profit trade association who serves the multi-housing industry and communities by promoting and maintaining the highest professional standards of excellence. Benefits of an MMHA membership include a team of dedicated lobbyists, lobbying on the state and local levels, an extensive education program that offers certified programs, automatic membership to the National Apartment Association (NAA), and much more. They provide education, information, legislative and advocacy services, enabling members to operate successfully while contributing to the community.
