Concrete Superintendent Position

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule, attend and/or run pre-construction meetings with clients.
- Work with clients to develop logistic plans for projects.
- Process work-orders, attach pictures, drawings, field notes, directions, etc.,
- Work as “problem solver” throughout project.
- Perform Post-Construction inspections and deconstruct barricades and return to shop.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run daily safety meetings and ensure all personnel are wearing PPE and operating in a safe manner.
- Familiarize yourself with project plans and specifications. (Ability to read and decipher drawings is required)
- Work with demolition equipment such as cut saws, hammer drills, jack hammers and bobcat breakers.
- Finish concrete to various specifications. (Light/Medium broom, sack, smooth, etc.)
- Apply curing compounds and/or sealants as required.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Experience in asphalt, concrete or masonry construction or maintenance is required.
- Must possess knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office programs Word & Outlook.
- AA/BA Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Typical work hours 6AM to 4PM, flexibility is required. Some nights and weekends are required.
- Clean driving record and criminal history (background check required).
- Non-smoker (PTG is a smoke-free company).
Salary:
- $18 to $22 per hour initial starting salary – predicted first year wages between $50K and $60K.
- 11 Paid Holidays plus 10 Vacation days off per year to start
- Paid “annual” training
- 401K retirement with company 3% match
- Life Insurance, STDI & LTDI
- Tuition Reimbursement Program.
- Performance Bonus. ( Between $2,000 to $5,000 annually)
Estimator Position

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend Marketing and Sales strategy meetings.
- Process RFP’s.
- Schedule and conduct a Pre-Bid meetings with the client.
- Read and review Civil, Architectural and /or Structural engineering plans, drawings and specifications.
- Estimate costs for materials, supplies, manpower, etc.,
- Perform regular follow-ups until the project is awarded or is no longer a valid opportunity.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with company marketing campaigns.
- Attending trade shows, conventions, expos and networking events.
- Perform scheduling with all Subcontractors, coordinate with private utility locators, Miss Utility, Spot-a-Pot, etc.,
- Compare actual project costs against estimated project costs
- Perform Post-Construction inspections.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Experience in asphalt, concrete or masonry construction or maintenance is required.
- Must possess knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office programs Word & Outlook.
- AA/BA Degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Field Project Manager Position

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend and/or run pre-construction meetings with clients
- Work with clients to develop logistic plans for projects and quickly resolve any issues that arise during project
- Work hand-in-hand with subcontractors
- Process work-orders, invoice data sheets, pictures, drawings, field notes, directions, etc.
- Track number of barricades used, how many left, how many returned, how many stolen and return all barricades to shop
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work as onsite safety officer and conduct tailgate safety meetings
- Attend pre-bid sales meetings, site visits, site take-off meetings and post-construction meetings
- Record project particulars, depth of asphalt, condition of sub-grade, etc.,
- Estimate costs including materials, supplies, manpower, etc., Prepare proposals and/or assist sales department
- Field work including: striping, signage, wheel stops, saw cutting, caulking, patching, concrete repairs, masonry repairs, asphalt repairs, core drilling, concrete, and minor landscaping
Requirements:
- Ride-along training for 1 month or more as needed
- 3-5 years’ experience in construction industry.
- Must possess knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office programs, including Word & Outlook
- AA/BA Degree preferred but will substitute work experience for college degree.
- Clean driving record
- Background check required
- Non-smoker (PTG is a smoke-free company)
Salary:
- $16 to $19 per hour initial starting salary – predicted first year wages between $40 and $50K
- Overtime at time and a half
- Paid holiday, vacation, and training
- 401K retirement with company 3% match
- Life insurance, STDI, and LTDI
